Subway Macros Calculator
Single-Page React App tool designed to provide a user-friendly alternative to the official Subway nutritional calculator.
I created the Subway Nutrition Calculator after trying to track the macros for a custom Subway sandwich and getting frustrated with the calculator on Subway’s own website. It was not mobile friendly, and the process of building a sandwich and understanding the nutrition totals was harder than it needed to be.
Since then, Subway’s website has moved even further away from that kind of interactive experience. The latest version no longer offers the same calculator and instead points users to a PDF with a large amount of nutrition information, which makes tracking a custom order even less practical.
I wanted to build a focused tool that made the common task simple: choose the ingredients in a custom sandwich and see the nutrition totals clearly.
